Question about circulation..

I have a 20g long. Here is what I have for circulation: A Aquaclear 300, Hagen 301 PH, I have a CPR fuge on the back that I'm just using to get rid of bubbles from the skimmer The remora is hooked on the CPR fuge. I changed the stock RIO200 to a MJ1200 to get a really good flow through the fuge for the skimmer. Here is my question, is that enough water movement? I tried to put another PH in the tank and everything seems to get kicked around and the anenome's don't seem to like it.... is there a trick?
