![]() Does anyone run 20000k halide bulbs on their tank. Got any pics? Love to see them. Post or send me pics of your tank with 20k bulbs. Running 14k phoenix now but wonder if i should change to 20k. Like to seethe difference. Thx

![]() Interesting. I do run a electronic ballast so maybe this pushes the bulb harder turning it more white than blue.

![]() electronics usually under drive a bulb...making it more blue.
Its going to be too tough to compare though photographs IMO. Plus each bulb and ballast combo can light a bulb differently. You should see in person someone with a eballast and 20k bulb and see if you like it. But remember not all 20k bulbs are the same too. |

![]() All 3 ballasts are HQI but with single ended bulbs, I was amazed at how blue the phoenix bulbs were

![]() Because I didn't have a spare, I'm actually running a 15K on one side of my tank and a 20K on the other of a 4' tank. You can really see the difference. 20K is too blue in my opinion and you really lose the shimmer effect you get with the 15K. I'll try and get a pic today once the lights come on for you.
