I am thinking of setting up a new reef tank, and have a location in mind that can handle a tank up to 64". I would like to make the most of the space available and go perhaps up to 150 g or so.
I know I can always build custom, but would prefer to buy used. I just haven't seen many 5' tanks offered.

They're around, usually in the 110-140g range.

My 150g was a stock 5' tank. I have a sump in the basement that is 5', I think it's a 110 or 125...

I have a 5 X 2 X 20 125 gallon. It was a custom build. I love the dimensions.

I have a 5' tank that is a 120 gallon standard tank, I think it is an All-Glass.

Here is a link to Marineland for common aquarium dimensions: http://www.marineland.com/MLCatalog.aspx?taxid=1911805

Plus there is nothing wrong with lighting a 5' tank with a 4' light. One of nicest tanks I have seen is a 6' tank with a 5' light on it. |

I plan to use my DIY T5 lights from my upstairs 72" on the 5' which will be downstairs, right next to my sump room. Then I can try some new LEDs in the 72" tank, which I want to make my showcase.
