Sounds tasty

I have a lady in Calgary that want to trade me her 7.5' x 2.5' x 2.5' tank for my 65 gal hex. So I would have to build a stand similar.

So a few beer down and a bit of welding and here we sit now.

Hey, Sylvia is cool with all this, I actually think she might even like the idea so far. Here's hoping anyway.

This one worked out well, brought home the lazer level and shot everything in before welding it up. Worked sweet, everything is perfectly level.

Very impressive thus far! You managed to make everything look organized compared to what the rest of us go through on tank builds that involve the demo of a section of the house!

Wow! I vaguely remember talking about you setting up a large tank in your basement and I remember thinking/partly discussing where'd you put it.....and I remember thinking first you just have to knock out that wall.....and then you'd have lots of room, however I don't remember if I said that out load of not, so WOW you actually did that! Cool!

I also love that the tank is going to be 42" wide, I really like the look of wide tanks. The stand looks great

Ya, I've had a few weeks to plan this one out. I'm not going to rush this one, going to take my time and finish everything right the first time around.

SWEET!!!! TIG welding in the house. My wife would have to be gone for the day for me to get away with that.

Happy with the look so far, I'm glad I can do a peninsula, I think it will really look sweet after it's all set up.
