ok, ive edited my first post to add a photo of the tank with a 6500k on the left side. i had to use the flash on the camera in order for the pic to show a more realistic impression of what the 6500k looks like on the left side.
it is the last pic in the series. and again, thanks for all the nice comments

wow, as soon as you stuck one of those bulbs on, your corals grew about 2-3 inches each!
 j/ktank is looking great shao, but I'd sure like to see it in person to really get a good idea of the bulbs. Keep us updated on colour and growth!

Wha tabout CSA listing.
 I might be out in left field, but it sticks in my mind that you cannot sell electrical items in Canada without CSA certification. At least that is what I recall from Electrician's school
