go to your local welding supply store and ask for a co2 reg. washer. it should not come close to interfering with your threads.

ok, got the washers and had another prob. When I was increasing the pressure on the tank via the black knob to 40psi ( it was the max on the right gauge) like they said there was a hissing sound, then a loud whinning sound as I approached the 40psi mark the gas was comming out of a hole on the reg behind the left dial I know it shouldn't be doing this, but any idea why it is? I am pretty sure I had the needle valve all the way open. The only thing I could think of was that the pressure was too high, but it said 40psi on the outside set of numbers on the right guage. Thanks.
