Default Biting clown fish

So here,s a different one for you. We all know the male clown is usually chased out by the female to bite the intruders in their domain.

I was doing a water change and the level was down a few inches. Hand my hand in the water but my arm was resting across the tank rim and parallel to the water but above it a couple inches.

Instead of biting my hand like usual, he jumped from the water and grabbed the skin on my arm that was out of the water. Then just hung there for a sec. Now if he figured that was enough warning or just realized where the heck he was, he did a floppy thing and back in the water.

In all my years of keeping fish, never seen the likes of that.
