Does anybody know of a location in Edmonton where I could buy 110v fans for my light hood.

Radioshack. Ask for 4" muffin or cooling fans. 35$ or around there, each. 60 cfm and pretty quiet and reliable. Lots of people use them, even me

Hydroponic stores sell fans very simular to the radioshack one for 25.00 (including the cord) and the move 120 cfm. and only a couple decibles louder.

If you are in Calgary any time soon Princess auto ( surplus section ) has 120v fans that look about 8" in diameter ( will check when I get home cause I picked one up myself ) ... hooked it up and it almost put whitecaps on the water
Cheers

my skimmer is louder than thoes fans so I will take the bigger volume.. two radioshack fans couldent keep my fropm rising more than 3 degrees, one of the Hydroponic shop fans has my temp rise down to 2 degrees, one more and I think I should be fine for the summer.
