Hitchhicker crab id please.
Hi there,
I found a crab last night in the tank and was wondering if anyone could ID for me. Thought maybe it was a emerald crab but not sure if its possible for them to have red eyes? Thanks for the help. Last edited by Oxymoron; 05-19-2009 at 08:04 AM.

Looks like some sort of Xanthid...generally not reef safe. Red eyes =

I had a crab identical to that one in my tank when I started it! Within hours it was trying to murder a snail!!! trust me GET RID OF IT!!!! It's really bad news!
