Well, i have been waiting for these guys for a long time! And finally, after almost a year of waiting, one of the stores got them in. So today, I picked up two Gold Stripe Maroon Clownfish!
These guys are rare and fairly sought after in the hobby. They can go for $50 or more each at some stores! I currently have the female in a box in the main tank and the smaller male outside the box cruising the tank....eventually, i will let the female out....hopefully by then, they will be more used to eachother and only have a little fight before acceptance! ![]() Enjoy! I'm assuming your 90g is a four footer & that's not enough space to give the percs a chance to get away from the Maroons. I have a breeding pair of Ocellaris with my pair of Gold Stripes but they each take one half of a six foot tank, with their own LR structure & host anemone (although Oc. host Rhodactis shrooms). Like the others have stated already, maroons are the most aggressive clowns & getting them to co-habitate with other clowns requires luck & lots of tank space.
