mangrove pods

anybody using mangrove pods in their system?

is there any place that actually stocks them?, i know they are on j&l's web page but i've called several times and they don't expect to be able to provide them any time soon

I used the Mangrove pods in Nova Scotia.I am actually waiting for a friend to send me some out.I used them in my fuge all the time.

My friend bought a bunch of mangroves from Colin at Coral Ocean & floated them in his reef tank on one side using styrofoam. It looked kind of strange but he wanted the roots to grow out & look like a mangrove swamp. He had over a dozen mangrove pods.

BTW, most of the recent literature I've read has indicated that mangroves are less efficient nutrient exporters than was originally touted.
