I don't have favorite songs but how about fav albums.

Slipknot-Subliminal verses Vol 1
Cradle of Filth- Nymphetamine
Lamb of God- Ashes of the Wake

These are cd's I can listen front to back and over again.

can't say I've heard of him is he like yngwie? I saw malmsteen in toronto in 03 on a g3 tour (with satriani and vai). quite the experience.

No, I wouldn't compare the two really. Just that most guys that end up interested in guitar players find their way to Holdsworth. He's the musician's musician for guitar players.

haven't stumbled yet, but there are a lot of guitar virtuosos -- too many to come across when you're still young like me, lol!

I'll look around and see what I can find on this guy.
