Folks,
I have a mated pair of true percs. Recently I noticed some discolouration on the female that I don't think was there before. It seems that the colour loss is underneath the scales as opposed to be a growth on top or in the skin. The male does not have this and they both eat as heartily as they always have so I don't suspect a parasite or disease right noe. Any ideas what it is? Here are a couple of pictures: Thanks, Ed |

Hmmm, can't get pictures to work tonight. They are in my photo gallery if you don't mind looking over there.
Thanks again, Ed |

Ed,
Remove "?6436" from your links. Basically everything after the ".jpg" and the pics should work fine. |

kinda looks like shes's losing some skin/scales. is that possible that she's scratching herself on a rock somewhere?

I haven't noticed any rubbing or scratching but I'll keep a closer watch, and I'll take another look tonight, but the scales seem to be intact.
