16" Aqua SpaceLight Mini Fixture with 1 x 150W 10,000K HQI Double Ended Metal Halide Bulb - Fixture Color: Black

pendant is 3 months old, bulb has about 1.5 month use on it(8hr/day).
Excellent condition, I am upgrading to 250W. $400.

Willito,just out of curiosity,why didnt you change the ballast instead of buying a new fixture?I'm asking because I'm saving up for new lights and getting a lower watt used fixture and upgrading the ballast is an option I'm concidering.

The fixture I have has the built-in ballast, not remote.
If I am correct, I think the HQI sockets are rated for specific Wattage: not interchangeable. ei. if the fixture is made for 150W, then only 150W bulb and ballast can be runned on that system.

The bulb size is different, hence, a different socket. FWIW, both are likely rated for the same starting voltage (2kV or something).
