How long does a membrane last. I have a 26gpd for about 2 years, I need to know when to replace it, and where to get one cheap.

test with a TDS meter. mine reads 1 tap water is 14

Yeah, they need to be replaced about every 2 years. I just got a 50gpd to replace my 24gpd (same size) from saltwaterconnection.com for $60. I didn't shop around too hard, but I did do at least a cursory check and it was the best price I could find at the moment. It's one of his April specials.
