T8 ballast for T5?
I have a bunch of 2 bulb 48" T8 ballasts. I'm wondering if they will work for T5 bulbs?

tried that when t5s first came out. no go. and those were normal out put not t5HO.

I have a reptile ballast that is for T8 bulbs but comes with T5 bulb adapters so I would figure they would work as long as the ballast for the T8 is rated higher than the T5 bulb you are going to use..
