Yah pffft what's SPS? Actually there is one in the tank (an old monti cap i've had going for 5 years) but its ugly brown so i always break it and keep it in the back. I'm not sure if Pavona corals are considered SPS? But there's one in there too.

Yes there is a skimmer on the tank, a Deltec 300. Although it just kicked the bucket, i guess it needs a new impeller (cha-ching). I also have a little aquaclear on there for media storage, and I run a phos-ban reactor when needed. 2 Tunze 6025's for additional flow.

Delphinus, I'm not too sure about the 'bipinnate plume'. I've had both my gorgs only for a few months now, and while i've gotten a few inches of growth off the other one, I haven't noticed much from this one. The purple plume i've had some difficulty finding a spot where it isnt going to get stung by anything since its so delicate. And it doesn't seem to stand up to the flow very well (probebly cus its in the sand). I would be inclined to attribute differing growth patterns to flow rate and direction rather than species variation. Although you can figure it will lead there eventually! I will let you know if I notice any growth changes down the road.

totm would be nice my old 33 was totm one year, but i think this 90 deserves it more.

Thanks again all!

Interesting - my gorgs seem to love flow. But one thing I've found with them - unlike other corals where you can place them and (more or less) leave them be, gorgs are top-heavy in a sense so really HAVE to be glued down adequately (at the very least, glued to a heavy base - a typical "reef plug" isn't going to cut it unless the plug itself gets glued down, or pinned down by heavier rubble).

Can you do some close ups of your gorgs at some point? (please and thank you)

hehe yah I'll try and get some macros of them.... and I really should epoxy the purple one onto a rock and then stick it in the sand, i am sure that would solve it.
