			 I am new at this..have put my rock into the tank and has been in there for about 7 days. The tank is clean some alage is growing but i have been cleaning it up. I look tonight and there are some white spots on my live rock is this a normal process or should i be worried about this?

			 Without knowing what the spots are i would have to guess that it is part of the normal process. With the tank only being 7 days old i wouldn't worry about it if i were you. now is the time to lots of water changes though, to keep the phosphates and nitrates down

			 Its possible some coraline algae has died.  They will turn white.   I wouldn't worry too much..  wait and see what happens.
