Default VorTech MP40W SOLD

I'm in Vernon, Okanagan Valley. Would like to sell this unit or trade for an MP10WES. Trade for MP10 I'm thinking straight across, selling price how about $300 shipped anywhere in Canada? Outside of country price would have to be adjusted for added shipping cost.

I got this pump used from another hobbyist a year or so ago. I've been keeping it as a spare so it has only seen a few hours of running time while in my possession. It runs perfectly, the dry side being among the more quiet ones of the 4 I own. It's a smooth runner. The rubber boot feeding the electrical cord into the dry side has some cracks in it, but this does not affect the operation whatsoever. I had taped it up with some electrical tape but removed this for the photo below. I'll entertain offers within reason, but have no problem with holding out for the asking price. Ideally I'd like the trade option since I wish to add an MP10 to the back glass of my tank to work with the two MP40s running now.

Hey thanks Mike, but sorry I'm not looking for an MP20. I'd like the smaller footprint of an MP10 on the back glass. I recently shut down a canister filter that was providing flow from the back glass & am now running an AquaClear powerhead in it's place. It's a monstrosity back there, but works for running the carbon I used to have in the canister. I have another MP40WES that I will likely put there until I can get my hands on the MP10. The MP40WES I still have as a spare can be dialed down for that purpose, same idea as an MP20 would be. Just can't sync either of them with the current Master/Slave pair I've got going, (flow would be too much) but I could with an MP10WES. Whew, long story, but thanks again, can't use a 20.

Tempting, very tempting. I've got an MP10 ES (non-wireless) that I wouldn't mind upgrading. I like the pump but I've got the dry-side wedged in place to keep it from falling off my 1/2" glass hahah so the extra holding power of the MP40 would be welcome. I know you're lookin for a WES model to work with your MP40, but as you know the ES can be made wireless for about $40. Lemme know if you're interested.

260 is a great deal, but not prepared to let mine go for that. It runs like new & is quiet. The issue with the electrical cord boot is very minor. What's the condition of the one you scored for such a low price? Was it good to go or need some wet side parts?
