A friend of mine was genius enough to use glass cleaner mags to hold a frag rack. Works awesome!!!!

Yeah just buy either smaller mag-floats or cheaper ones and mount the rack to them. Easily done.

Or just buy the eshopps frag racks. They are pretty cheap.

Used hard drives has rare earth magnets.... Cannibalize them and encase them if yiu can. I think dealextreme.com has some too which you can try out to see if they are strong enough or if they can be encased somehow.

Good luck.

Lee Valley carries the rare-earth magnets. As said might be able to protect with a epoxy or resin coating.

I picked up some of these Mag Clips at Pisces in Calgary. I use one for my ATO hose and other for a small frag. They work quite well. Maybe one of the LFS in Edmonton has them too?

I've bought those ones and used both halfs inside of the tank.
Just buy and use a non coated magnet on on the outside.

I've also purchased 3 large glass cleaners/cheap mag floats and used them all over aswell.

One of the ones I bought wasnt water proof and filled up with water.
I recommend sealing the seams with super glue prior to use.

I use the same ones. They fit frag plugs perfectly. I also use them as probe holders.
