FS: Vertex Alpha Cone 170 ( NEW)

I purchased this skimmer a few months ago with the hopes of setting it up on my reef tank.
I have since purchased a much larger tank so I need to sell this and do an upgrade.
This skimmer is good for tanks up to 200 gallons.

This is BRAND NEW, has not seen water, and was purchased locally at J&L.
I have the receipt for warranty purposes.

Paid around $920 with taxes.

Asking $800.

May I ask why you dont just return it to JL for store credit, and use that credit towards the bigger skimmer? If it's BNIB with receipt, I'm sure Jeff will be reasonable.

Didn't keep the box. Actually, left the packaging at the store when I took it home.

It's crossed my mind for sure, just not too sure they'd be keen on taking it back without the packaging.

I think if you tell Jeff you will take 800 for it, box or no box he will take it back. it is worth a try.

For sure. Maybe they would put it out as a display unit. You should definitely chat with Jeff first.

I would also just go down to JL and talk to Jeff, hes usually pretty good with this stuff!
