So why Pacific sun? Thats got to be the #1 question.

I will outline here why P.S (for short) have captured the NA markets attention so quickly.

Technical
No Optics (unless requested) The benefit of this is you do not get spotting, the biggest draw back with optical array LED systems is the use of optics to boost brightness, this creates hot spots, reduces spread and does not allow LED colours to blend. Pacific Sun produce non optic LED arrays, this means you get the full CREE 120-125 degree spread.

Benefits -
vastly reduced if not completely eliminated spotting
Wider spread meaning less units required
Greater overall PAR over a wider area

LED technology -

P.S use the latest LED's available

Black Python range - built on a series of LEDs CREE XP-G and XP-E (based on 3W chips)

Metis LED light Has four types of LEDs running at a couple different power levels. This Metis LED fixture will have an even ratio of four different led types on board: Neutral white and cool white Cree XPG LEDs running at 5 watts and blue and royal blue Cree XPE running at 3 watts each.

Quality
Pacific Sun are European made with all parts sourced from either within the EU OR the USA, they advocate zero Oriental component application. You are getting the best possible quality from Europes leading dedicated LED manufacturer. Each component is assembled on an auto production line working on the finest of tolerences making sure units are balanced to one another and the quality is comparable throughout the range, furthermore each unit goes through a full soak test.

Dedication to product
Pacific Sun do not make other products, the whole company is LED based, so their research and development is not side stepped by other non related products. This makes sure full attention is provided to the development of one singular product. ( waiting for it - sea slug - Sister company nothing to do with Pacific sun as a company)

Less units for size of tank.
Due to Pacific suns design you do not need as many units. here is a break down of size of tank and how many units required.

Black Python-
Tank Length
61cm - 1pcs BP lamp
92cm - 1pcs BP lamp(if live rock is arranged on center area)
122cm - 2pcs BP
153cm - 3pcs BP(or two, if live rocks are arranged like two islands)
183cm - 3pcs

Width
61cm - 1pcs will be suitable
92cm - 1pcs wil be suitable

Depth
61cm - 110W or 160W
92cm - 200W or 160,200W with lenses 60 degree.

Metis LED lights
2x100W – 33.5″/850mm – suitable for aquariums up to four feet/120cm
3x100W – 49″/1250mm – suitable for aquariums up to five feet/160cm
