Default Will my yellow tang heal on his own?

I just got a yellow tang and introduced him into my display tank. He's now showing some tiny white spots (only a few)... I think it's ick. I only have a few other fish in the tank currently. I can't catch him as hes in a 230gal with lots of live rock. He is eating well and does not seem stressed.

All water parameters are good.

CAL 400-420
ALk 9.0-10 DKH
NO3, NO2, Ammonia all at 0

My question is, If my water quality is good, can he fight it off with no other treatment?

Should I do something else? UV?

whats he eating? if hes already in there and your not looking to take him out, the best thing i could think of to make him recover faster is just improve the quality of his diet if that's possible.

Soak some nori in garlic, he will likely recover just fine on his own.

I am soaking his food in garlic, and hes eating great. I am feeding him nori, mysis, and Mishkas food.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the advise.

no, sounds like you've got it covered. You should see good results in a day or two
