Default Got to wonder about people

Come home after work and the neighbour who building the house beside me comes over. Asked if I seen a moving van around his place last night? Said no, but started thinking of the news last night about job site thefts and all the equipment lost.

Well good news, they didn't take any tools...

What they did was unscrewed all his kitchen cabinets (upper and lowers), took those, plus the appliances.

He's basically been building this house himself and was probably within a few weeks to moving in. Just sad.

Can't believe someone would steal cabinets? Wow, that's messed up.

And so is that craiglist story. That's not the first time (nor the second, nor the third, for that matter ) that I've heard that kind of story from craigslist. You have to wonder if craigslist has to bear some liability for that sort of thing. How hard would it be to redflag any kind of ad that says "everything is free, just come get it" ?

Sad, mad world...
