I just bought one today and was wondering what others think of them. I am still blown away with the price tag $400 plus for a powerhead is amazing. The demonstration however was cool as hell.
I am using it for circulation in a freshwater stingray tank! |

I love mine using only one vortech plus a wavebox on 60 x 24 x 18 110 gallon.
Cant keep sand in place with vortech on high speed. These are very efficient powerheads and provide superb flow with little heat generation. I cant see a need for four of them unless tank is over 400 gallons. And the new controllers do not provide as good of a wave as the Tunze wavebox does.
