Need help killing a coral!
Well i have a colony of Anthelia that i would like to get rid of completely, or at least manage it growth. It has been shading out my zoos and now it has spread to other parts of the tank. Im wondering if anyone has a way to kill this stuff before i have a whole tank full of it. Chipping it off is not an option and pulling it off manually only seems to have it spread out to the rest of the tank faster.
Any help would be appreciated. Heres a Pic, the culprit is on the bottom right. It an older pic, so it has spread more covering the zoos.

Cut it back as far as you can, then cover over the base in epoxy. Some people also kill with kalk. paste, but I'm not overly familar with that.

thats stuff is like a weed.

i might try some kalk, do you think boiling water would do the trick? or this stuff is free to anyone willing to pull or cut it off the rock.
Free Anthelia anyone? Removing the rock really isn't an option, there are 4 types of zoos, a branching hammer toadstool leather and 2 hawaiian feather dusters atttached. Also anyone know where i could get some good long reach scissiors i could use to prune this stuff?

It seems to come off in small chunks or somtimes rips apart and if you let it go it gos and grows somwhere else in the tank. But i guess i'll have to start with the tweezers everly day along with a syringe of boiling water.
