Is that a plate coral (Fungia or whatever) ?? How odd, I had no idea they could be gregarious predators ... could the mandarin have been compromised somehow and the plate is just scavenging?? I never would have guessed a plate could take down a healthy fish (let alone even scavenge one .. when I had a plate coral it would barely eat small things like even mysis).
