Default Built a new tank stand

Hello all i just figured i would share some pictures of the new tank stand i built...

I wanted something that would really make the tank a showpiece instead of a "glass cage" on a metal stand so i built a cabinet around the tank and used crown molding to create a framed look from the sides. I have the cabinet doors off in the pics but they are hidden hinged. The flash makes it look a lot lighter brown it is actually a darker brown. I was going to stain it originally but i really didnt want to pay for cabinet makers quality 1/4" plywood.

The tank is a 33g which the inhabitants of my current 20g will be moved into I will keep all the live sand in the 20g and am going to turn it into a sump/ refuge. I am still searching for a metal halide light to put above the tank so if anybody comes across a deal let me know

Anyways enjoy the pics they are all clickable thumbnails or at least they should be...

Cheers,
Ken
