Nice shot, did you catch him with the lights off. I have watched my peppermint shrimp do the same thing with small snails.

That's not a chiton, that's a stomatella snail.
![]() But yeah shrimp (at least both peppermints and cleaners, IME) will pretty much decimate a tank's population of stomatella snails. Too bad but I guess there's always some give and take no matter what you choose to keep...
