Default HELP PLEASE damaged fish

After a long search for my neon dottyback I finally found that it had lodged itself in my tunze magnet... It looks as though the poor guy had been struggling to get himself free... now there is some tissue damage to both sides of his body... is there anything I can do to help this heal providing it survives this trauma ( still huffing and puffing)... I have already put himin QT any medication... an iodine dip... any help would be appriciated

Cheers
Dan

I would leave him alone for a while and let him recover. If he wasn't too badly damaged and was healthy before this happened he may be able to recover on his own. Keep the water quality high and feed him food soaked in vitamins and garlic. Beta glucan is also beneficial if you can get it. (available at health food stores, get the stuff made from brewers yeast it's stronger and water soluble)
