June 2002 Meeting

Hi Everyone, time to start planning the June 2002 meeting.

The best date for my wife (Celia) and I to host this meeting will Saturday June 15, 2002. Spouses (significant others) and children are invited.

As stated before, it will be a BBQ. We will supply the burgers and buns and you will supply snack, salads, and deserts. As for drinks it will be BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage).

Weather permitting we could light up the old fire pit and roast some marshmallows. We could even go as far to have Smores.

Start Time: 15:00

End Time: whatever

As of the long weekend in May until at least the long weekend in September I will be out of town every weekend. I will be sorry to miss what promises to be great fun. :(

Sorry to hear that, Bob. You will be missed; who will correct our punctuation and grammar? ;)

Kim - the 15th sounds great, we expect to have all 5 of us there. We'll coordinate the menu closer to the date, I suppose. Or can we just bring a bucket of coleslaw? ;)

Looking forward to it, way to get after it early. (Wait, weren't you just at my house?) :D

Hi Kim,
Yes 'm coming to the June meeting, and my tank did just fine while I was away.
However, the day AFTER I got back, one of the sump hoses blew off, and I lost 25 gallons down the mechanical room drain! :eek:
No casualties or equipment failure. One of my new Aquamedic pumps ran dry for about 45 minutes!!! Running again with no ill side effects. [img]smile.gif[/img] ......Whew!

I am still sorry I can't make anymore weekend meetings until September. I won't get to meet what to me is a new member. Alan I am still waiting for a call regarding the dirty sponge. :D
