pm email msg

I have gotten 5 PM emails notices since 3ish this morning yet no pm's? are they hold back from pm's I had gotten before? sort of odd as I thought i got a butt load of pm's and had none.

That happens to me too. I get messages that there is a PM, but when I check there are none.

Ive had that once or twice as well. I just assumed it was someone who sent me a message but then changed their mind and decided to delete the message from their outbox before I picked it up.

Could they be old notifications? I noticed I had a few emails from the board yesterday come well after the moment.

If someone sends a PM, then removes it while still in their outbox, you get the notice but no message.

As a matter of interest. I can look at my inbox, and see there is a message. I then read the message, and much later I receive notification that I have a new PM. Just now I received a PM. I will let you know when the email notification arrives.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Today the email notification has been pretty much instantaneous for me. But yesterday, not so. Who knows what's going on with them internet routers. Maybe the electrons were on a coffee break. Darn unionized electrons!

Bob/Tony, you guys using Shaw email? That will do it. I always get email notifiactions right on time with my email.

Yes I use Shaw, and BTW it is now an hour after I read the last PM, and no notification yet.
