I had dark red slime algae and now it is a medium brown slime algae in my year old 90 gal. I use tap water but do regular water changes. Any ideas? I know I need RODI water but is there anything else that I should look at for now? Thanks.

You may also want to consider increasing the circulation in your tank. It worked for me. That stuff likes to settle low flow areas and dead spots.

Wow, that link totally cleared it up for me. Do other people agree about the kalkwasser?
I am going to get an RODI filter and start his regime ASAP. Thanks! |
