Dipping live Rock then putting it back in your tank
So I have recently set up an all zoa tank. I dip my zoas before they go in but looks like i've brought in zoa eating spiders. I"ve noticed zoa's closing, then a little colony dissapear so i took a newer frag off the main rock work and dipped it again, yup a spider fell off.
Now the issue is most of my zoas are fully encrusted onto the rock work of the display. Can i dip liverock in revive then rinse it in fresh water and put it back in the tank? Will the revive get into the rock and then leach out into the tank? If it does does that matter? I feel like the answer is no you can't but i'm nto sure what else to do. Thoughts? Anyone dealt with spiders before? |
