Hey everyone I'm back with a new setup.

I had yew wing at fish gallery built the tank to the specs I gave him. Here is the current list of equipment I've gone with. Nothing has been skimped on either.

Tank by fish gallery
Rock from Fiji reef rock (pukani, Tonga and Tonga shelf rock)
Caribsea Aragonite sand (x3 full bags used)
x2 ecotech mp40's
x2 ecotech radion xr30 pro leds
Neptune apex (Lab edition) controller
Hydor smart ato
Ecotech vectra m1 return pump
X2 200watt cobalt heaters

Oh and sump will be built from plywood.

Here's an update to the project. I've since added stock and coral. We have hung a temporary light as well.

Off to a good start, what type of skimmer is that?

I like the plywood sump, brings me back to the days way back when I saw a monster custom plywood reef tank with glass front and and port hole view side.
Everything was custom including the skimmer that was almost as tall as me run by a couple big dart pumps. It also had a cat walk going around the whole tank in the fish room that took the weight of 4 large adults.
