looks like nanochloripus.it also looks like you have some pods in your mix.do you run your water through a uv sterilizer before adding to your cultures?if you try tetraselmius,it looks like it is alive under a microscope-always moving.i am also going to start culturing danella as soon as my cultures get here-hopfully this week

I mix RODI then run it through UV sterilizer 100 micron over each vat for contaminant.
Grow Nannochloripsis to about roughly 0.2 billioncell/ml (cell size 2 µm ) Grow Tetraselmis to about 0.12 cell billion/ml (cell size 9-12 µm) Grow rotifer to about 0.01 billion/ml (2-6 mm range) After reaching the growth above I mix all in a container to feed daily into my system. So far the bottles I been producing will stay live for about 2 mths unless I have them all as cryo-preserved in witch case last longer refrigerated and up to 6 mths frozen. |

for those that emailed and pmed me about the cultures,I wasn't really planning on selling it as I was only producing enough for my systems and a little more, but if I see enough interest I will produce it to sell and offer few different strains.

What are you using for a microscope? I have been looking for one for a while.
