Tank Build Size, Just Lookin For Opinions
I am currently in the works of planning a new tank build. The original plan was to do a 180 or 230 but I just found out that the floor were I plan on putting it isnt strong enough so im limited to 150g.
What I have come up with is either 96Lx20Wx18H or 72Lx24Wx20H, both are 150g and there is only a $70 difference to make the larger one.

8 feet would be nice, but I like the depth you would get with the 6 footer better. Just my opinion I like the depth

Depending on the type of tank your setting up, the longer tank will likely require additional lighting.

Have you considered 5'x2'x2'? I had a 150gal of those dimensions a couple years back and I'm getting another one shortly here. Depth and width are perfect I found!

Go for the depth. 24W minimum for a tank. makes aquascaping easier and look much better.

Oh haha I thought I posted in the marine fish section.
I plan on making it a FOWLR with mostly large angelfish which is why I thought a 8' would be nice for more length of swimming room and minimal rock in the DT
