I use it. It seems to do the job for me though I can't claim that it has made my tank any more spectacular. I did find that when I was using regular chemipure my PO4 was higher... that might be because chem elite has GFO added to it. Who knows. It works.

I use it as well. Or I WILL use it. I've got a Fluval Edge set up with saltwater. I am currently using Chemipure and it holds my PH very well. Just filter floss and Chemipure. I had bought some Chemipure Elite, but it was slightly larger than the regular Chemipure and therefore wouldn't fit in my stock filter...I found a 1/2 bag size of Chemipure Elite and will put it in when it's time to change out the filters. I should mention that I've only had my tank up since Feb 1. and only softies and LPS in the tank.

I use it now & have from the beginning in combination with a bag purigen , my Po4 is at 0. I order it by the case from J&L change it out every 2 months. Also for the last 3.5 months I've run additional carbon for water clarity, that gets changed monthly. I don't have a sump or reactors so it strategically placed for max flow though.

any added benefits over just running GFO in a reactor? (besides ease of use obviously )

I thnk it works great as long as you replace as often as neccessary.
