Default Claws Came OFf !
I was moving my 2 Coral Banded Shrimp from my QT tank to my new 75 and both claws came off one of them . Will they grow back or is he done for ?

Relax Brent - they do that (throw their claws) as a last-ditch defensive manoeuver. They should be back with the next molt.

Not to worry.

The bigger concern is doing a proper (long) acclimation when moving between tanks. They are very sensitive to changes in SG, and can be killed easily this way.

Both tanks are at 1.023 , but I'm taking my time with them. Will be at least 45 min before they go in the big tank.

Maybe a person could dry the claws and use them in some sort of display frame...
