Has anyone used one of these ro/di filters? How hard are they to hook up and how well do they last?

in regards to how long the filters last you wont be able to tell without a tds meter so get one from them as well i use rough around 20gallons/week that includes all top off water, water changes and drinking water.. i change my filter ev'ry 5months, surrey water kinda sucks low pressure and dirty |

I was so worried about a flood that I parked a wet/dry vac near by. Anyway, it took me about an hour and a bit to hook up. They have great tech support.
As for the filters, it all depends on the quality of your water. I find that I have to change my filters after about 4 months and I use Vancouver water. they don't go the full six months as claimed. Due to the cost of changing all three filters, I have adopted a new strategy. I change the first pre-filter every 2.5 months. they are cheaper to buy. Don't forget to flush the RO membrane every month. Richard |
