just seeing everyones thoughts on the swc 180 cone skimmer for a 110gtall heavy stocked tank.

Don't by SWC. Worst customer service company around.

Plus it might go under now that the owner might be going to prison

The skimmer tends to have a good following in the hobby. Search the board for it, you'll see lots good said.

Jayson never treated me badly when I needed a new impeller. He sent it right away no charge.

Plus I got it from Paul at OC who is always nice to deal with!

you will also find if you do any digging that lots of people have had issues with the pumps.......if you do decide to go with one, I would consider ordering an extra pump for it right away.....that way if the pump does go on you then you will have a direct replacement......they seem to change the pump body every couple years or so......it can be any issue finding a pump that will fit the volute properly as my Girly found out when her 2-3 year old pump died on her SWC recently.....and, ya, the customer service wasnt the best when she E-mailed them about it
