Default HELP!!!! SeaPEN has just spawned in my 30 gal Reef tank
Hi All
I am new to this forum
I heard of this site at my LFS

I bought a Sea Pen this past weekend at my LFS and it spawned in my tank today. Know i have a cloudy mess of a tank

Should i be worried about anything or should i start doing extreme water changes

Please help!

Jon, welcome to Canreef! I would probably do a decent water change and run some carbon. Do you have a skimmer? If so, make sure it's clean and working at it's best!

I mixed up some new salt water today and planned to do a 5 gal water change tomorrow
I have a prism skimmer and power filter with chemipure in it.
I will rinse it tonight and keep an eye on things

What size tank is it? Also watch for fish gasping at the surface in case the O2 is low.

It is a 30 gal tank
I just did a 5 gal water change
I will do another 5 - 10 gallon water change tomorrow
