I don't think it is a majano. How big is it? Were did you get your live rock from.

each head is the size of a nickel, maybe a tad smaller than a quarter. Green in the center and brown otherwise. They had congregated on a small rock that you see in the pic, but a couple have shown up on two other rocks. The live rock came from another persons setup that I just bought.

| looks similar to some large head polyps I have. if you keep them away form other rocks, they wont migrate.

I change my mine, being that small and more showing up I would have said some kind of pest anemone. Also check out this site.http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/anemones/photoalbum_view Last edited by ILIKECOUGARS; 04-06-2010 at 03:15 AM.

I think maybe i'll treat them as majanos for now...i'd hate for them to be majanos and I do nothing and they take over. For the ones that are on the larger rocks, i'm attempting the shell idea I read earlier...about putting a shell over it and the majano transfers to it and then just throw it away? If that dosen't work, then maybe i'll go find one of those pen torches and burn it off?? lol oh the fun of pest removal! hahaha Thanks for all the replies!
