"Lifetech" pumps - are they a sham?

Found this pump on ebay:

Almost the same output as my 140$ quietone 5000 and for 1/3 the price. Has anyone used these before? Are they a rip-off?

Read the fine print for that seller. He only takes Money Orders from Canadians. Too much of a hassle if you ask me, paypal is the only way I pay. I have a couple of Lifetech powerheads that work great. I wouldn't think there would be anything wrong with that pump.

the only thing I am wonering is how much of a water hight can it handle. it may be great at 2 feet but what abhout 4 or 5 feet.
