I really dig the use of PAR38 lamps for your build & the light hanging system reminds my of my own chain massacre DIY rig. The advantage of the chain to me is that I can easily raise it a few links to adjust the height. I've long been considering the switch to LEDs, PAR38s in particular since I don't relish the idea of gathering the various parts & soldering up a DIY array. My other option is to get MR16 base (traditionally used as Halogen spotlights) LEDs since they can be run directly from a 12 volt DC source, like a bank of batteries, perhaps powered by solar... but I digress. Here's a pic of my current MH/T5HO combo ghetto rig. I can envision those being replaced by a much cleaner, lighter array such as yours.
