Default Tax pain. What tax filing program do you use?

It's that time of the year... tax filing season.

What tax filing software programs do you like?

I have a bunch of slips for dividends income, capital gains, RRSP contribution. Thanks for your thoughts.

I take my taxes to an accountant. I used to do my own taxes just manually with the forms. Then I got audited in 2006 and 2007. When you use an accountant for personal taxes you're much less likely to get audited.

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.

Oh forgot to mention, I used to use Cute Tax. My accountant charges $140 I think.

I use an accountant for the business part but do personal with turbo tax. It takes like 5min because it retains everything from previous years. Unless you're attempting fraud I wouldn't be concerned about an audit for personal taxes.

My wife uses Ufile online for ours, and some clients she does. She is a registered CMA accountant, so I expect she knows what is up.
