Default I see bubbles! (not algae)

Well I noticed for the last few days that my tank got some air bubbles in it (don't know how it happened). I changed the flow a bit in the tank. I googled a bit and saw one post where it is claimed that low area flows can trap air bubbles. Any idea?

No ill effect though.

Do you have a Deep Sand Bed. I had quite a few bubble coming out of my DSB on my initial tank as crabs and fish would make their way through it. If you don't have that much sand then I am thinking bubbles from your sump or skimmer are getting into the tank.

Nop no DSB. No sump. No skimmer. My hob refugium do generate some bubbles. The problem has been solved actually. I changed the flow a bit and that cause the bubbles to settle in. Things are now fine (as was before with the bubbles)

Haha yah. The ocean is filled with micro bubbles. I don't know why people say it can kill corals!

the concern is more to fish some fish can die from small bubbles , what you have isnt micro bubbles its bubbles period, micro bubbles are almost so small you cant make them out like what comes from your skimmer

Ah that makes sense. Thanks Denny

So does that mean when the bubbles are gone; I need to change the bulbs or something?
