Default Making dry rock live VS. Quality of salt

All right...
I have a bunch of dry rock I want to turn live.
I had hoped to stick it in a bin, with a power head, and add the odd small bit of live rock from my current tank to seed it.

Now I have a bag of salt that when I mix it up properly, the water is still slightly cloudy. Wouldn't ever use it for the tank, would it be okay to use it for the rock bin? I feel bad tossing the whole bag if I cant use it for anything. Cat ate the top corners off the bag while it was rolled, so its not spit, dont know if moisture got in or what, its not a solid lump, it still looks normal and feels normal, haven't bothered to test anything but the SG with the batches it makes.

Thanks guys!

Default

I don't see any reason to not use it for the rock curing process. What brand salt is it?
