Default Trying to track down DLP tvs

I just really enjoy the picture from DLP's it's just that know
One sells them in Canada anymore ( I know fatter outdated)
But still the picture is awesome .
So other than Craigslist any options out there for 60" ?
There still sold in the USA but with warranty issues it's just not
Worth it .
John

Just gave my 52" Toshiba away on Kijiji for free. It was like new, just needed a new bulb.

Lamps do go and there cost is around $100 so not to bad i guess if that's the only thing i just have a 60" gap in my living room and now forced into conversations instead of watching netflix

The reality is that pretty much only Mitsubishi still makes them and they don't offer them new in Canada. The bulbs are readily available online so it looks like supplies will be available for a while.

If you're that interested...I would give them a call and find out if they would cover warranty to the local repair shop (that's the typical proceedure for large items like DLP tv's) if you bought from the US. I have a 50" Samsung and we really like it...but for $1200 you can get a 75" Mitsubishi online.

Just pretend you can't hear them over the noise of the tank. Problem solved. Sooooo... When do you want to set up that 250?

I don't get it, why would you want a DLP? You really think picture quality is better than what's currently available in the LED/LCD/Plasma world?

Dlp tvs have better picture than most lcds

But not better than a plasma.

The reason they stopped making them because the color wheel would always break and you'd have to replace the lamp every couple of years
