Default I wasn't bashing Ocean Aquatics

Why do so many think I was bashing or ranting? I was pointing out facts - facts that can cost a business money.

It’s not my job to ask the store what is going on, it’s the store’s job to inform me.

I never said I wouldn’t return, nor did I say not to shop there.

I made valid points that would benefit the store and those of you that don’t see it that way are missing the point.

The purpose of most businesses is to make a profit. Wasted space is lost money. Messy customer areas can turn people away.

you could have called them, or sent them an e-mail, or a letter... but public forums sometime don't work out so well!

I did e-mail them - after the fact

I didn't mean to cause any harm, hence the reason for this new post

If that was the first impression you got then thats a "WRONG" for the store.
You speaking up about it then thats a "RIGHT" for you.
It's the stores responsibility, no matter what, not to leave you with a bad first impression.

Just checked it out and its all true.......my cats breath does taste like catfood....I have gained a lot if knowledge from this post , thanks

Hey, I understand where ur comin from. First impressions are everything.

If a business chooses to or has to stay open during renovations, it is in their best interest to post a sign informing people that that is the case. If I walked into a place that was a mess, and not well set up or stocked...I would probably not return.

Actually, you shouldn't feel bad. What you brought up is probably what some others have thought on their first visit to OA. You just said it, which allowed others to come to their defense, and have them explain themselves, too. I think that was good.

I think there were some good suggestions for the LFS, and for visiting reefers. Shows that people actually care.

Does the sun still rise every morning? I think people will get over it. Opinions are way over rated, ya mine too. I told my wife when ever I get ranting too much about something to just say to me "P H" .... Translation " shut my Pie Hole"
